"The week of fine dining" will be held in Baja California from Monday 4 to June 10, as an effort to promote regional dishes.
The National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry and Seasoned Foods (Canirac) carries out this exciting national campaign for the most discerning palates.
With support from the Secretary of Tourism, Tijuana, Tecate, Rosarito Beach and Ensenada join this gastronomic gala to contribute in the growth and economic development of the region.
Julian Plascencia Huerta, president of the Tijuana-Tecate Canirac, noted that there are 14 restaurants in Tijuana, 6 in Tecate, 11 in Rosarito, and 22 in Ensenada that will participate.
The 53 restaurants will offer a discount of 20%, promotions in various beverages and courtesies, as well as wine tasting, beer, desserts and tickets.
Baja Californias cuisine currently has an international recognition, derived from its ingredients based on seafood, meats and vegetables, along with wines, beers and artisan cheese.
"This week were inviting all families from Baja California and our foreign visitors, to eat out and visit these participating restaurants and take advantage of discounts, promotions and offers," said Juan Tintos Funcke, president of the Secretary of Tourism.
