If you had been searching for the opportunity to taste the best of Baja California, then the “Baja Culinary Fest” is the ideal one.
The event begins this Thursday October 11th, and starts off with activities in Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada, Tecate and in the Valley of Guadalupe.
Activities of the event will conclude on Sunday October 14th at the Plaza Galerias Hipodromo in Tijuana, and also in Puerto Nuevo who will be also hosting once again its Lobster Fest.
Kristin Diaz de Sandi along with her husband Antonio, have become the ambassadors of the bajacalifornian taste abroad, who also commented about the gastronomic event: "We are truly excited for the upcoming days of festivities planned for this year's Baja California Culinary fest. This is an excellent chance to explore and discover the region's much talked about culinary arts. It's not only about the food, but of course the people and just that amazing feeling of sharing a delicious meal and experience with close friends or family."
Bill Esparza who has also worked towards promoting the regions food, added: " The Baja Culinary Fest is learning fast for such a young event. Last year it won an award; this year it looks to win hearts and minds with an impressive schedule of events that range from the stars of the local street food scene, to dinners prepared by the top chefs in Baja California. One of the hottest food destinations in the world now has a food festival worthy of its reputation."
This year’s edition will count also with the participation of Sinaloa as the guest state, but the best thing above all is that this Festival is for everyone: Amateur cooks, cooking students, and professionals.
The prices from each activity vary from 50 pesos to 1800 pesos, which some include guided tours to some restaurants, themed dinners, tour of the bay, and of course the corner food stands… a great mixture of the best from the state.
