Mexico's new port of entry "El Chaparral"

Puerta México at San Ysidro under repairs this Monday

The General Services Administration (GSA) informed that on Monday October 15th, the port of entry into Mexico will close three of its lanes, due to repairs in which the lanes will be closed for a time period of 12 hours.

Lanes 4, 5 and 6 from San Diego into Tijuana will be closed beginning at 10p.m. Monday night, and all drivers are being encouraged to take any necessary precautions.

Normal activities are expected to return on Tuesday morning October 16th at 10a.m.

In the meantime construction activities at the Chaparral are coming to its end in a few days, which will allow entry into Mexico through that access point that will begin operations starting November 1st, and will have 22 open lanes.
