The next calendar for Xolos has been announced, are you ready?

All games, except the match against Chivas, will be on Saturday at 5PM PST

TIJUANA, BC.- The 2013 Clausura calendar for Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente has been announced this weekend and every fan should mark January 6th as the date when the team will start defending its recently acquired championship crown.

The directors of the Liga MX have published the whole schedule for the next season where Tijuana will start by visiting Puebla de La Franja on January 6th at Estadio Cuauhtémoc, as part of Week 1 of play.

Xolos will play every game but one on Saturday at 5PM Pacific Standard Time (PST); the only match on Friday would be the game against Chivas.

Estadio Caliente in Baja California will have its first match on January 12th when the Xolos receive the visit from León Panzas Verdes, on a match surely to make big headlines because of the rivalry of these 2 clubs.

2 matches to highlight of the whole calendar will be the visits to Caliente stadium from both América Águilas and Guadalajara Chivas. The squad from Mexico City will land on the synthetic field on February 9, while the tapatíos will do the same on May 3rd, as part of the last week of the regular season.

Apart from the Liga MX calendar, the club is still waiting for December 22 to know all about its schedule on the 2013 Copa Libertadores de América; that will be when Xoloitzcuintles will meet its rivals and the countries it has to travel to, in order to participate for the first time in the continent’s most prestigious club tournament.

The 2013-2014 Concacaf Champions League, where the best team from North America, Central America and the Caribbean play each other, will start on the second semester of the year, roughly on August 2013; this will leave room for Xolos to participate on this tournament until the end of the 2013 Clausura.
