SAN DIEGO, CA.- For all those kids that have been watching the Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente's matches on Primera División and want to emulate their heroes, boy, do we have good news for them.
The Mexican soccer team, reigning champions of "futbol mexicano", together with the Xolos USA Academy are inviting kids from ages 6 to 14 to participate in their Winter Camp that will take place at Hilltop High School on 555 Claire Avenue in Chula Vista.
This will be a good chance for the children to learn all the basics from soccer, as well as more complex activities.
There will be 9 different topics: Goalkeeper training, defensive and offensive principles, heading and shooting, conditioning, Coerver moves, ball mastery through fun games (which include dribbling, passing, receiving, running with the ball and turning), crossing and finishing, free kicks and a special modality of street soccer.
The Winter Camp will be open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 9AM to 12PM; prices for the general public are 80 dollars per child, while Xolos USA Academy members will only pay 60.
