After stirring up a bit of controversy over his taste in hip-hop music, the republican senator from Florida, Marco Rubio, via twitter offered his condolences to Jenni Rivera’s children and everyone else who loved the singer.

Something that has characterized this politician is that he always keeps an open mind and supports minorities, which some say it’s something completely different from someone who belongs to this political party, whom all are mainly looked upon as being more conservative when it comes to certain issues.

Rubio, who is Cuban-American, is currently serving as a senator for the state of Florida and is 41 years old.

Before the 2012 U.S. presidential elections, it was predicted that he would be chosen to be the running mate as Vice President with Mitt Romney.
