Xolos will play against the world's champions in Libertadores

Club Tijuana will also take on Millonarios from Colombia and San José Oruro from Bolivia

TIJUANA, BC.- Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente has been drawn on Group 5 of the 2013 Copa Libertadores de América where they will play against current world champions', Corinthians from Brazil.

Millonarios from Colombia and San José Oruro from Bolivia complete the group.

The draw took place in the South American Soccer Confederation (Conmebol in Spanish) headquarters in Paraguay, where all the other groups were also announced.

Other Mexican teams playing on Libertadores had different luck; Toluca Diablos Rojos, second place at the 2012 Apertura tournament in Mexico, will play on Group 1 against Barcelona from Ecuador, Nacional from Uruguay and Boca Juniors from Argentina. On the other hand, León will play for a chance to be on group 4 against Deportes Iquique from Chile. If the team beats the Chileans, they will take a spot to play against Vélez Sarsfield from Argentina, Uruguay's Peñarol and Ecuador's Emelec.

Tijuana will have a very complete 2013 in terms of soccer, since the team will play for the Mexican champions on both 2013 Clausura and 2013 Apertura tournaments. They will also play during the first half of the year on Copa Libertadores de América against South American teams and on the second half at Concacaf Champions League, against teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
