U.S. citizens want CNN host Piers Morgan deported

He criticized the need of more guns in America

After CNN host, Piers Morgan, criticized and questioned the idea of needing more guns in America to reduce murders, there is a petition now online requesting for his deportation from the United States.

Morgan interviewed last Tuesday, Larry Pratt, who is the executive director of "Gun Owners of America", which during the interview Pratt had expressed that having more weapons could possibly prevent incidents like the school shooting that occurred in Newton, Connecticut.

This idea is also similar to what the National Rifle Association has proposed, and suggested to have teachers armed with guns and police present at all times in schools across the country.

Morgan then called Pratt a stupid man and said: "You have absolutely no coherent argument. You don't actually give a damn about the gun murder rate in America."

The day after the interview there was a petition posted on the White House website.

In order to get a response from the White House, there needs to be at least 25,000 signatures on the petition, and so far there is above 31,000.

Piers has also posted this petition in his personal social network accounts for anyone else to sign, and also put a message that said, "If I do get deported from America for wanting fewer gun murders, are there any other countries that will have me?"

Whether Piers Morgan will be deported from the United States, nobody knows yet.

U.S. citizens who signed the petition are now waiting for a response from President Barack Obama.
