Music genre "reggaeton" banned in Cuba

Promotes the misuse of culture and sensuality of women

The obscene, aggressive lyrics and explicit words that have a "pseudo-artistic" rhythm are some of the reasons why Cuba has banned the music of Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel and others who perform "Reggaeton".

This Caribbean country through the Cuban Institute of Music, announced that radio stations will not broadcast the music of these types of singers, and in addition to the reasons already cited, they believe that this music misrepresents and highlights the sensuality of Cuban women, and because "reggaeton" has begun to be a hit on the Island.

Not only will radio stations be regulated in this matter, but the Cuban Institute of Music will also regulate it in public places.
