TIJUANA, BC. - For the first time this Saturday, fans from the border region will witness Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente play against Leon. A team whom they beat while on their way on obtaining the championship title from the Apertura 2012 tournament of the Liga MX.

The red and black team will be seeking to add 3 more points to their record in this game, which the match will be played at Caliente stadium at 5p.m. local time (PST).

This match up will also be part of week 1 from the Clausura 2013 tournament.

Tijuana will be coming into this game with a 2-1 victory last week against Puebla at Cuahtemoc stadium, while Leon was barely able to tie in their last game at home against the Queretaro 2-2.

Club Tijuana had a very intense training week which led to two problems at the end of this week.

First, the Argentinian captain, Javier Gandolfi, suffered from a bruised on his right buttock, but is still expected to play in today's game. Second, the Columbian forward, Duvier Riascos, was not present at the training session that was held on Thursday morning.

Xolos head coach, Antonio Mohamed, will most likely set up his team with goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo defending the goal, Edgar Castillo, Javier Gandolfi, Pablo Cesar Aguilar and Juan Carlos Nuñez as defenders.

Playing in the midfield will be Cristian Pellerano, Fernando Arce and Joe Corona.

The forwards up top will be, Fidel Martinez on the left, Duvier Riascos on the right, and Alfredo "Chango" Moreno will be in the middle.

Leon on the other hand made some big changes after last year's tournament, where they hired some well-known players like Rafael Marquez as a defender and one of the leading scores in Europe, Nery Castillo.
