Xolos will play in the MLS on U.S. soil

The game will be played on Tuesday at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles

TIJUANA, BC.- With the only objective to be well prepared for their first participation in the 2013 Copa Libertadores de América, the players from Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will battle against their Major League Soccer counterparts, in a friendly match to be played on Tuesday January 22 at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, California.

The game will be useful for the players coached by Argentinean, Antonio Mohamed, who will try to be ready for the start of the Libertadores tournament on February 19 against Millonarios from Colombia in the city of Bogota.

According to the press release sent by the Xolos Press Department, those who don't play on Sunday against Pumas UNAM, will be able to participate on this match that will start at 4P.M. local time (PST). The game against Pumas will be part of Week 3 of the 2013 Clausura tournament of the Liga MX.

On the other hand, German Coach Jurgen Klinsmann will have a chance to watch his best players before the start of the Concacaf Qualifications to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

So far, there is no information regarding tickets on sale or if the game will be played benind closed doors. The club will most likely announce that information at a later time.
