Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto congratulates Barack Obama

He sent him a letter

Yesterday, Barack Obama initiated his second term as President of the United States, and becomes the 17th president to accomplish this feat. Therefore, Enrique Peña Nieto sent a congratulatory message which reiterated the commitment of the two countries to work together to achieve goals that will benefit both nations.

Before Peña Nieto started his term as the President of Mexico, Barack Obama received him at the White House and both agreed to work closely on various topics such as immigration, fighting crime, education and the economy.

One of the priorities of the second term of Obama will be the immigration reform.
