The match is schedule for February 19th

TIJUANA, BC. – The fans from the Los Angeles area of Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente, were not able to witness the match between Xolos and the U.S. National Soccer team a few weeks ago, but on February 19 fans will finally be able to enjoy watching the Xolos, where on this date they will be playing against the Los Angeles Galaxy at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

This match will be the only one that the L.A. Galaxy will play against a Mexican team, and is part of their preparation before they initiate their 2013 season in the MLS.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:30p.m. local time (PST), where a spectacular game is expected between these two current champions.

It is important to mention that on this same date, Xoloitzcuintles will be also playing against Millonarios from Colombia in the start of the Copa Libertadores of America 2013 tournament. Therefore, the players who will be playing against the Galaxy will be players who will not be playing in the game in Bogota, Colombia.

A special celebration is expected to be put together, so that the fans will not want to miss a single minute in this historic match.

Ticket prices, availability and more information will be provided in the next few days.

Xolos and the Galaxy had already faced each other in the San Diego Classic in the Torero Stadium at the University of San Diego, where in that game they tied with 2 goals apiece, but Xolos ended winning the match after the decision went to penalty shots.

In the game at USD, the L.A. Galaxy was led by Landon Donovan and the Englishman David Beckham.
