Xolos: one full year undefeated at home

Only loss was against Santos Laguna in the regular season

TIJUANA, BC. -Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente has now gone one full year without tasting defeat in the regular season in Division One of the Mexican soccer league. The last time they were defeated was on January 29, 2012, against the warriors of Santos Laguna.

This observation is only based on the statistics of the first 17 matches of the regular season of the Aztec soccer, which points out that the last defeat that the Xolos suffered was against Santos Laguna at Caliente stadium, where after that game, Xolos made their home field a place where it would be difficult for any of their rivals from any part of the country, to come and conquer.

As far as in the playoffs, Xolos lost at home in the Clausura 2012 tournament against Monterrey in the quarter finals match 1-2, in a game where Xolos had made it into this phase for the first time, under the leadership of head coach Antonio Mohamed.

Social Networks on the edge

Many people in various social networks have been very attentive to this great feat accomplished by the Xolos, which some have also made Photoshopped images of the team, who have kept an important streak at home for the fans.

The image on the Facebook page of "Encuentra en Tijuana", was published also on "Xolo Pasion" where it explains the statistics of the Xolos being unbeaten at home during the regular season and their last defeat against Santos.

On the Facebook page of "Xolos de Tijuana Fan Page", this static had to also be explains to the fans, in which at the end the fans were happy to know that the teams home field, is a very difficult field to conquer, who very few teams have had the privilege to do so either in the regular season or in the playoffs.

Social Networks that are dedicated specially for Xoloitzcuintles, in the last few weeks have requested more attention from the fans, who also have reminded everyone that they are not only the champions of the Apertura 2012 tournament of the Liga MX, but also that for the first time ever, the team is now undefeated in 4 consecutive matches which is the same number of games that they have played so far.
