Mohamed visits his family in Argentina

Xolos' Coach has a well deserved break from soccer action

SAN DIEGO, CA.- One day after the 2-2 draw against Monterrey the Club Tijuana manager Antonio 'El Turco' Mohamed jumped on the very next flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mohamed will take advantage of the upcoming FIFA international match days to spend time with his wife and kids who still reside in Argentina.

It is precisely this family matter that had Mohamed's return to The Xolos' bench after last season's championship run.

Mohamed considered returning home and working from Buenos Aires where his family lives. But the sweet smell of Copa Libertadores was enough for 'El Turco' to sign a new six month contract.

What is in doubt is what will happen at the end of this semester. Mohamed will be out of contract and be facing the same decision. Stay in Tijuana and continue this exciting project or return home to be with his family. Will the CONCACAF Champion's League and a possible FIFA Club World Cup be enough for Mohamed to stay?

This will not be a long break, Mohamed and the Xolos will be back in action on March 31st when they visit Toluca and the Nemesio Diez pitch that saw them be crowned champion a few months ago. Three days later they will be back in action in the Copa Libertadores when they visit Bolivian side San Jose on April 3rd.
