Everything is ready for the new edition of the Baja Beer Fest in Ensenada. The festival will take place today and many breweries from all around the State will be there to promote their products.

Food and Music will be part of the big celebration at the Social and Civic Center "Riviera del Pacífico" from 2:00 pm to midnight, but you will be able to taste the local beers from 2:00 pm to 6:00. Tickets for the event have a price of 300 pesos, around 25 US. Dollars, they will be available at the entrance.

The Baja Beer Fest will be judged by the BJCP, this year the Jude panel will be formed by US professional judges and the first batch of Mexican BJCP judges in training, the first in Mexico's short craft beer history

In the recent years, the scene of local beer has been on the spotlight as a new industry that came to stay, alongside the great wines of Baja California and delicious food. Now, you can find local beers in many restaurants of the state to enjoy your meals, it's an effort of local producers, bars and restaurants. The Baja Beers are for everyone, all kinds of flavors, dark, light, sweet, and you will also find many stores to buy your own ingredients and make your personal beer, they even offer the classes to learn the process.

This will be the fifth edition of the Baja Beer Fest, it's organized by the Baja's Association of Craft Breweries (ACABC), who announced the date for this new fetival last month. Over 40 breweries will participate.
