TIJUANA, BC.- Tijuana Zonkeys obtained its second consecutive victory after beating 80-77 Ciudad Obregon Trigueros in the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, as part of Round 8 of the 2013 season of the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa in Spanish).

Omar Quintero was the best scorer for the team in black and white stripes with 21 points, followed by Derek Thomas with 16, and Gene Shipley with 14.

For the visitors, Kenny Jones was able to score 30 units, by 21 of Derek Thomas and 13 by Brandon Sperling.

Now the Tijuana squad will travel to Los Mochis in Sinaloa to look for a new win against Pioneros, before traveling to Cananea to battle the Pioneros.
