Marquez & Manny Pacquiao back in the ring

The date and time has been announced

MEXICO. - The return of Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez to the ring is now official with a starring role on September 14, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, against the welterweight world champion Timothy Bradley WBO.

In a chat that Marquez had with ESPN Deportes, he talked about this new challenge and the opportunity to make history in the boxing world in becoming a five-time world champion.

"I had a meeting with my family on whether I would or not be back. And finally, there is a possibility of a return on September 14," said the "Dinamita."

"The decision was made because I still feel good. I feel capable in doing two or three more fights, possibly. We do not know of what can happen, but this is what has been decided. I also feel good mentally, which is something important because I still want to do something important in boxing," he said to ESPN.

It is important to mention that Bradley is returning from beating Russian fighter Prudnikov, and before that, Manny Pacquiao, which is looking to be a good mix and the credentials to face the Aztec boxer.

Another rival that was on the deck of fighters to challenge Marquez was Mike Alvarado. However, "Dinamita" and his team decided that Bradley was a better challenge, due to fact that he is currently ranked in the top 10 in the world, which in staying true to his style, this Mexican fighter always looks for the toughest challenges to increase his legendary status.

Marquez also reiterated that a fight with Manny Pacquiao is not worth it at this time. He feels that the Filipino fighter is no longer in a "good position" and prefers to focus on new challenges against fighters who are at the top.

Sometime this week the official announcement for the fight will be made, where they will also possibly announce the Thomas & Mack Center-with capacity for 19,000 fans-as the battle ground.

Pacquiao is set to be back in action in October and will be facing Brandon Rios. Although, there are some rumors that it might be against Mike Alvarado instead.
