The Baja Musical Arts Initiative (BMAI) is the name that was given to the New York office belonging to the Orchestra of Baja California, whose main objective is to join multicultural links in music.
This Friday April 19th will be the official launch in the Elebash Recital Hall at The Graduate Center, located in the premises of the City University of New York.
This performance will be formally inaugurated by the president of this foundation, Alfredo Alvarez Cardenas and soprano Monica Abrego, who will also be in charge of the BMAI.
Baja Musical Arts Initiative was established as a nonprofit organization under the name 501, whose objectives are to raise funds to promote the exchange of teachers and students between Tijuana and the rest of the world.
The Baja Musical Arts Initiative in New York will also raise funds to benefit the members of the Community "Redes 2025," so that they can continue their education in music.
