$100 dollar bill make over

U.S. government introduces the new Benjamin's

The Federal Reserve has announced that as of October 8, 2013, the new and improved Benjamin Franklin one hundred dollar bill will be in circulation in the U.S. and throughout the world.

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the new "Benjamin's" have undergone a few security changes to make it almost impossible for counterfeiters to duplicate this bill.

One of the changes that were made is a blue security bar that is woven into the bill that changes to 100's when the bill is moved around.

Another noticeable change is that there is an inkwell with a bell inside that are both copper, but, when the bill is moved around, the bell changes to the color green.

A Federal Reserve spokesman said that they are proud of their new design, because it is original and simple.
