New investigations from South Korea and the United States suggest that the missiles that North Korea had and was ready to attack with, have been now removed and stored, which could mean a step towards peace.

A South Korean government official said that the high alert in the neighboring country has now been lifted. However, the international community will remain on alert to any changes or provocations.

At the same time, the U.S. and South Korea will continue their joint military exercises in the Yellow Sea, a practice that is common in the relationship of these two countries.

On Tuesday, the president of South Korea, Park Geun-hye, will meet with President Barack Obama in the United States. Her visit will last five days and among other things, she will most likely address the current situation with Pyongyang.
