As a precautionary measure, the San Ysidro pedestrian line will be closed on Thursday, May 9, starting at 6:00 a.m., and will reopen again around noon.
The reason for the temporary closure is that the construction crew will be removing a light pole as part of the remodeling process of this site. This light pole is located on the north part of the pedestrian bridge over Interstate 5.
Authorities are suggesting for people take the necessary precautions, and make a new plan if they will be crossing on this date and time.
