Through the social network Facebook, “Embarazadausa”, is a company that is promoting the birth of children in the United States to non-U.S. citizens.

The term "anchor baby" is used when planning a pregnancy in the United States and living in the country without being a resident while obtaining all of the benefits that the government provides. And then years later, apply for U.S. citizenship claiming to be the mother an American citizen.

It is true that every woman has the right to have their baby where she considers that the medical service will be better, but this practice has caused some controversy for being marketed and reaches the level of abuse of the benefits to a U.S. citizen.

The concern in this case is the promotion of this type of practice through social networks, where this company describes their services and its benefits.

“Having your baby in the U.S. is not impossible.

We can help you lower the cost with either a normal labor or caesarean section procedure.”

Their services include:

- Prenatal Care, Consultations, Medicine, Ultrasound and Lab work.

- Hospitalization.

- Health Care: Before, During and After Childbirth.

The only requirement is for the female to have a valid visa. The company’s price range from $2,000 to $2,600 U.S. dollars.
