Tijuana, B. C., May 8, 2013. - A couple of thieves who used three children to cover up their crimes were arrested by municipal police officers in La Mesa in Tijuana yesterday. This after they threaten another individual with a firearm.
The suspects have been identified as Deiser Rodriguez Alonso, 30, and Laura Azucena Villaseñor Robles, 23.
Yesterday morning this same couple robbed a pedestrian's wallet and cell phone in Baburias Street near the Santa Cruz neighborhood in Tijuana. Then fled in a white Nissan Maxima with Baja California plate number 6CXU398, but was intercepted by municipal police at
Paseo de los Heroes and Sanchez Taboada Boulevard.
While questioning the couple, police officers noticed that in the back seat were three children ages 5 and 3 years old, and another one that was just 3 months old. All are children of Laura Azucena.
These two individuals were recognized by the victim, who also carried with them a stolen phone and a gun in a diaper bag which they used to intimidate their victims.
