Activist commits suicide in Notre-Dame Cathedral

He was against same sex marriages and Islam

Dominique Venner, a known extreme right-wing nationalist, recently committed suicide by shooting himself in the head inside the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Venner is known for protesting against same sex marriages and Islam, both which he considered as being immoral.

A day after Venner committed suicide, a member of the controversial activist feminist group "FEMEN" decided to enter the famous Cathedral and protest with the words "May fascism rest in hell", which was written on her chest, and "In gay we trust" written on her back.

The member from this female activist group, who entered the cathedral in this manner, is known as "the Angel of Death". She was photographed with a toy gun in her mouth to simulate what Venner did.

This is not the first time this group has protested in this Cathedral. The last time they were here it was when Pope Benedict XVI resigned, news that prompted a group of these women to "celebrate" by entering into this cathedral topless.

This latest protest was also aimed at the Nazis who are still in Europe, so that they can know that they do not have any support; on the contrary, through social networks FEMEN is encouraging for these Nazis to follow in the footsteps of Venner.
