Xolos head coach says goodbye to Tijuana

"Goodbye Tijuana! I was very happy here"

TIJUANA, BC. - The head coach of Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente, Antonio "Turco" Mohamed, said goodbye to the border town and the Xolos fans this Sunday afternoon with a "tweet" sent through his Twitter account.

"Goodbye Tijuana! I was very happy here. Destiny will surely bring us together again for a new adventure! Thank you very much."

This is what the great strategist for the Xolos wrote while on his way to the Tijuana international airport, where he departed with the team to Mexico City, and then boarded a plane to Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Antonio Mohamed sent this message through Twitter, along with a picture of his plane ticket.

Antonio Mohamed will be directing his last game this coming Thursday May 30, when the Xolos will be facing Ronaldinho Gaucho's team, Atletico Mineiro, in Brazil for their ticket to the semifinals match in the Copa Libertadores of America tournament.

Mohamed's contract with the Xolos ends at the beginning of June, which from Brazil he will board a plane towards Argentina where he will reunite with his family. And it is precisely for this very reason of why he is leaving the team. He misses his family and kids very much and every day that he is away from them, he says it feels like an eternity.
