Xolos will be a Seed Team in CONCACAF Champion's League

Xolos will know their rivals after Monday night's draw.

TIJUANA - Club Tijuana is coming up on their next international tournament; this time the CONCACF Champion's League, tournament which will give an entry into the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup.

Tijuana will know who their group rivals are this Monday June 3 when CONCACAF holds their draw. Xolos will be part of "Pot 1" where all the seeded teams are at.

Both of Mexico's champions are in this pot, Xolos for having won the Apertura 2012 season and newly crowned Clausura 2013 champion Club America. The other seeded teams are: LA Galaxy, San Jose Earthquake, Herediano, Olimpia, Comunicaciones, and Arabe Unido.

In the second pot the two Mexican league runners up Toluca and Cruz Azul will be joined by Kansas City Wizards and Huston Dynamo. Xolos could be facing Victoria, Alajualense, Isidro Metapan, or Montreal from this pot.

Pot three is composed of teams who play in the lesser prestigious leagues of the area. The most uncomfortable opponent out of this pot would be Luis Angel Firpo of El Salvadoror Real Esteli of Nicaragua.

The CONCACAF Champion's League is formed of eight groups of three teams. The top team of every group advances to the quarterfinals of the competition. By rule Mexican teams can not face U.S. teams in the group stage of the competition.
