New Xolos Manager Jorge Almiron now in Cancun

New Xolos manager has arrived in Cancun for the Draft.

CANCUN - New Xolos manager Jorge Almiron is now in Cancun, Mexico for the Liga MX Draft. He stating to the press what is very logical; that Duvier Riascos and Fidel Martinez have offers from other clubs.

Almiron and Ignacio Palou the Sporting Director are in Cancun with the clear intentions of bolstering the squad with at least one new player in every sector of the field according to statements made by the Tijuana group.

It doesn't seem like they'll be looking for a straight out defender to help out on the defensive side of the field, but a multifunctional player like Alejandro Castro of Cruz Azul.

Angel Reyna is another player that has been mentioned to come to the Xoloitzcuitles squad since last season. The former Club America player ends his loan spell at Pachuca and does not fit in the plans of the Tuzos or in Monterrey (club that owns his rights) for which he will be put up at the draft.

And for the forward position the Xolos could be looking at another Mexican-America; U.S. International Hercules Gomez currently of Santos could be an option. Javier "Chuletita" Orozco of Cruz Azul is another option; Xolos have wanted him since they were still in the second division.
