Flash looking for first place this weekend

Currently in second place, Flash will host first place FC Hasental on Saturday.

SAN DIEGO - With a seven game unbeaten streak the San Diego Flash have found themselves in second place of the Western South division of the NPSL with 20 points. On Saturday the Flash will be hosting first place FC Hasental (21 points) in a battle for the top spot of the division.

The game is scheduled for Saturday June 15 at 6:00PM at the Del Norte High School stadium in Rancho Bernardo.

Both teams come into this game on the backhand of a 4-2 win last weekend. The San Diego Flash got easily got past Las Vegas Stallions at home, while FC Hasental ended up overpowering then second place FC Santa Clarita.

San Diego Flash will be giving away plenty of prizes to the fans in attendance on Saturday night; among them two tickets to go see the U.S. Men's National team play against Guatemala on July 5 at Qualcomm Stadium in the U.S.'s only preparation match prior to the start of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Flash along with Pass It Forward Soccer will also be giving away 12 soccer balls to the youth team that brings in the most members. In addition to the on going deal of one soccer ball donation from Pass It Forward Soccer to a child in need for every San Diego Flash goal scored.

Adult tickets for this first place showdown are only $10 and can be purchased on the team's website (here) or at the stadium box office the day of the game.
