Hank makes official Beedetto signing for Tijuana Xolos

The Argentine signed a four year contract for Tijuana Xolos.

TIJUANA - Club Tijuana President Jorgealberto Hank Inzunza returned to Mexico from his trip to South America were me managed to sign Argentine forward Dario Benedetto to a four year contract from Arsenal de Sarandi.

This information was published by national news outlets such as Record, Medio Tiempo, and Tiempo Real who were able to interview the young president upon his return.

With this news Tijuana Xolos have their five foreigner spots filled for the upcoming Liga MX Apertura 2013 season as well as the CONCACAF Champions League. Three Argentine players; Dario Benedetto, Javier Gandolfi, and Cristian Pellerano, one Ecuadorian; Fidel Martinez, and one Paraguayan; Pablo Aguilar will be the five foreigners.

It is worth mentioning that Benedetto, the new Tijuana Xolos manager Jorge "El Negro" Almiron and former Tijuana Xolos manager Antonio "El Turco" Mohamed are all managed by Cristian Bravarnik.

As an Arsenal de Sarandi player Benedetto; also known as "Pipa" played 59 matches scoring 14 goals.

In an interview with a Arsenal supporting website Dario commented "I have mix feeling that are hard to explain. On one hand I am taking an important step in my career, but in the other I losing friends and teammates that are irreplaceable."

He added "I always rolled with the punches, it wasn't easy. I debuted in first division at a very young age. I was then sent to Defensa (y Justicia) were things didn't go so well, then I played for Gimnasia de Jujuy were things were better and then Arsenal came looking for me."
