"We have to copy the good, and keep adding" : Almiron

The new Tijuana Xolos manager spoke to the press today.

TIJUANA - Tijuana Xolos had their first training session open to the media today and new manger Jorge Almiron spoke with the press following the practice.

"I have a complete squad except for Cirilo. Benedetto will arrive on Wednesday, and we are all working very hard" said Almiron to open the interview.

Almiron will not be making huge changes to the team. Xolos have been performing at a good level and he was not afraid to mention that they must copy the good as well as adding his own little touch.

"Good things were done and accomplished here, we must continue with that. We need to copy the good things that were done and I'll be adding in my ideas little by little" said the Argentine manager.

Regarding the Dario Benedetto signing, Almiron was clear in saying that he was happy that the young Argentine forward will be joining the team.

"I coached him in Argentina, I'm very happy he is coming. The club did an extraordinary effort to bring him, he is playing very well at the moment" expressed Almiron.

Regarding the team's objectives the former Morelia player said that the club directors want to win every tournament in which they compete in.

"Wherever we play we need to win, that is the idea that the club directors have in order to make this one of Mexico's most important teams" said the Argentine

Finally the new Tijuana Xolos manger talked about a small preseason program he has prepared for the team in Oxnard, CA where only Juan Carlos Nuñez will be left behind due to injury. Everyone else including Fernando Arce will be there.

"Juna Carlos will stay in Tijuana, Dani Marquez and Juan Hernandez will continue to recuperate with us along with Fernando Arce. Abrego is still training with us but I'll have to talk with Paco, Dorados manger who also wants him, we'll see" concluded Jorge Almiron.
