He'll be replaced by Alfredo Talavara only if required.

MEXICO - Tijuana Xolos goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo has been dropped from Mexico's Gold Cup roster due to an injury to his shoulder. The following was informed by the Mexican soccer federation, National Team department.

"The National Team Department informs that during yesterday's routine practice at the National Team headquarters (Centro De Alto Rendimiento (CAR) ) the Club Tijuana goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo suffered an injury to his left shoulder which will cause him to miss the Gold Cup."

In the original 35 man preliminary roster which was summited last May by the Mexican Soccer Federation to CONCACAF, Toluca goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera was included. Talavera will now be registered in the final roster for the Mexican team for this Gold Cup.

Talavera will not join the team in the United States during the Gold Cup unless his presences is required.

Saucedo joins Tijuana Xolos teammate Fernando Arce who were called up to dispute the Gold Cup, but had to be let go from the roster due to injury.
