The National President of the National Action Party (PAN), Gustavo Madero, said that the exit polls show that Baja California will continue to be governed by the blue party (PAN), because Kiko Vega won the majority of the votes of the citizens.

Madero said that exit polls had Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, with a 5 point advantage over Fernando Castro Trenti from the “Commitment to Baja California” alliance.

In a brief news conference, the national leader thanked all of the parties that were part of the “United for Baja California" alliance with the PAN party, who were the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), the New Alliance Party (PANAL) and the State Party of Baja California.

Gustavo Madero regretted the Election Day irregularities and did not provide results for the election of Mayors and Deputies for the state of Baja California.

The national leader of the PAN party said that he hoped to have official documents soon to share with the public.

"We won because we won, and because we have the best candidate," said Madero, who was also concerned about the voter turnout in the region, indicating that it was well below average.
