Tijuana Xolos vs Dorados: The final preparation match

Tijuana Xolos will play their last preseason game today (Saturday).

TIJUANA- The start of new season is ever so close for Jorge Almiron and his boys. The final dress rehearsal will be today against Dorados De Sinaloa at 7:30PM in the Estadio Caliente.

Tijuana Xolos have had a decent preseason so far, beating San Diego Boca (5-0), Club America (5-2), but then falling at home to a very serious and tough Correcaminos (1-3). It is worth mentioning that the Xolos have not had much time to prepare in Tijuana and that 40% of their regular starting eleven is still missing.

The absences of Cirilo Saucedo, Fernando Arce, Herculez Gomez, Joe Corona, and Edgar Castillo are important due to the fact there is players missing from every line. But Adrian Zermeño, Bruno Piceno, Diego Olsina, Emmanuel Cerda, and Greg Garza are all preparing themselves so those absences won't be noticed, at least not in week one against Atlas.

Dorados de Sinaloa is without a doubt along with Correcaminos the best build second division squad, with players with first division experience like Raul Enriquez, Joshua Abrego, Jhon Cordoba.

It will be an open attack game, Dorados will not come in with a defensive game plan. Their coach true to the Lavolpe style will be looking to attack from the start. Tijuana Xolos will be looking to polish up the finishing of their chances detail.
