Facebook reply leads to man’s arrest

He was trying to defend himself

Matthew Oliver, 23, was arrested by police in Pasco, Florida, after he saw his "Wanted" photograph on the Facebook page of the Pasco Sheriff's Office and could not help commenting to defend himself.

Oliver did not only reply once, but several times.

The Pasco Sherriff’s Office then responded to him by posting, "Matthew Oliver if you want to discuss your existing warrant, please call the fugitive unit at 813-235-6064", something which he did not do and just continued replying, which ended up revealing his location.

After tracking him down (with tips from Oliver’s own friends), officers were waiting outside his apartment where he was arrested and is now facing charges for robbery.
