TJ Beer Fest 2013

San Diego and Tijuana unite for beer

Once again the classic TJ Beer Fest will be celebrated at the border city, which is organized by the Tijuana Brewery, but will also be joined by Stone Brewing of San Diego, who will be the co-host of this event that will bring together the best craft beers from both sides of the border.

The TJ Beer Fest has become one of the most important and busiest events in the northwest part of Mexico, which offers everyone who visits the city of Tijuana a variety of high quality craft beers, with the goal to introduce everyone to the brewery culture of the region, and something that their taste buds can enjoy.

The event this year will be held at Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where minors will be allowed to enter with their parents during these hours, but after 8:00pm, the event will be for adults only.

Among the participating breweries this year at the TJ Beer Fest 2013, they will be the Tijuana Brewery, Stone Brewing, the Cucapa Brewery, Ballast Point, Ramuri Brewery, Karl Strauss, Minerva Brewery, Green Flash, Patricia Beer, AleSmith, and many others from all over Mexico.

The culinary options did not fall behind with the participation of the best that the region has to offer like Caesar’s restaurants, 100 years, Venus Chocolates, Baja Artesanal and many more authentic restaurants from Baja California.

The event will be held on August 2 and 3, starting from 12:00 pm to 1:00 am on both days. The entry fee is $ 120.00 pesos (or $10.00 USD) and it includes a commemorative glass with 4 ounces of beer for tasting. Also, the admission ticket gives you an automatic pass to the concert that will feature Nortec Hiperboreal on Friday August 2, or to the concert that will feature the Aguacaliente Band on Saturday August 3.
