Dario Benedetto: "The first 'Hat-Trick' of my career"

Arce also said they played with the same intensity as last season

TIJUANA - "It was the first triplet of my career, I'm pretty happy about scoring three goals" said Dario Benedetto after scoring the first 'Hat-Trick' in Tijuana Xolos' history in the first division.

The Argentine shined with three goals, two in the first half and a third in the second half assisted by American Paul Arriola. But the reality is that the final score was a draw, but Benedetto's energy and commitment stood out.

"We didn't know how to manage the lead, it was difficult to overcome once the tied. But at the end of the day the team is hungry and fully committed" said "Pipa Benedetto".

Number 18 had some words for the loyal Tijuana fans and explained how he is adapting to life in Mexico.

"The people have been great, they have received me with open arms and I want to score more goals to make the Tijuana people happy. It has taken me a while to get use to things here, the ball is heavier here than in Argentina and I have never played on a synthetic field before" explained Benedetto.

Arce believes there are just small details to fix:

Fernando Arce was back from an injury he picked up with the Mexican National Team, he was participative and ran all over the field in a game his team drew 3-3 against Atlas.

"That's just soccer, they also have their attacks and in the end he had some costly errors. Of course there is something's to fix" said Arce in mix zone interview.

Arce believes that the team still has the same attitude has last season, but the game ideology is different now trying to generate more goal scoring opportunities.

"The team has been playing similar to last season, with intensity, drive, and heart. We have to analyze their goals, they came off of rebounds, and we also have to take into account the things they did well. These probably won't be the only goals we are scored on here at home. But we are a unified team" concluded Arce.
