Roach doesn't see any chance for "Canelo" Álvarez

Manny Pacquiao's manager gave his opinions on the fight

CHINA - After confirming that he will not be with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Freddie Roach is currently in China where he will be in a Chinese boxer's corner. But the manager and trainer gave his opinions on Canelo's chances against Mayweather.

In declarations picked up by ESPN the manager who has lead Manny Pacquiao to glory mentioned it will be a great battle that all boxing fans will enjoy. He praised the attributes of the undefeated champion Mayweather and considers his a heavy favorite.

"No boxing fan will want to miss this, maybe some action seekers might get a little bored but it will be a great battle. (Canelo) has a great and powerful punch, but can he beat Mayweather? I don't think so" said Freddie Roach.

The fight between "Canelo" Alavarez and Floyd Mayweather will be on Saturday September 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where we will see if Alvarez can make that jump into boxing's elite.
