Factory makes workers wear diapers to not waste any time

The company denies authorities access to inspect the facilities

Daniel Durón, leader of the workers in a Korean Factory, which is located in Honduras, has revealed that said company is making their workers wear diapers to avoid wasting time on going to the bathroom.

There are around 4,000 employees working at this place, the Factory itself makes harnesses to be exported to the United States.

Due to the denial of those in charge of running the factory as well as not allowing the Honduran authorities to inspect the factory to prove these claims, even though they've been aware of the situation for several months, the authorities had not been able to do anything about it until a mediation was set up with Human Rights and representatives from both the United States and Korea.

The company identifies itself with the name "LEAR", but it is officially known as Honduras Electrical Distribution Systems-Kyungshin-Lear (United States/Korea), the leader of the workers at the factory pointed out: "It has been reported to the authorities that they make workers wear diapers so they don't leave their workstation to go to the bathroom".

Sounds like a bad joke but unfortunately it is not, it is an actual measure that the company was implementing, demeaning workers for the sake of "productivity and profit".
