The Xolos vs Veracruz match has been rescheduled

The game will be played on Saturday September 7 at 7:30PM

TIJUANA – Due to the Mexican National Team playing on Friday September 6 against Honduras in the CONCACAF World Cup Qualification tournament the league has decided to reschedule the Club Tijuana vs Veracruz match which was scheduled on the same day as the Mexico game. The new schedule will be 24 hours later on Saturday September 7 at 7:30PM local pacific time.

The change of schedules was an obvious one, since it is an official FIFA date the logical thing would be that there would be no Liga MX games. But due to the tight schedules in Mexico between league, cup and CONCACAF Champion’s League; federation officials have decided to just go ahead and play match day nine despite the World Cup qualifiers going on around the world.

Tijuana Xolos will be without Fernando Arce, Edgar Castillo and Pablo Aguilar for this game as all three have been called up to represent their National Teams. Veracruz will alos be without their star signing Angel Reyna and it remains to be seen if Panamanian Luis Tejada gets called up.

So the new schedule for the Liga Bancomer MX week 9 fixture between Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles and Veracruz will b on Saturday September 7 at 7:30PM at the Estadio Caliente.
