The prestigious magazine “Restaurant”, published a list of the best restaurants in Latin America, where two restaurants from Baja California stood out: “Laja” and “Corazon de Tierra”. The article was based on the opinion of over 250 gourmet experts in order to make the selection of the flavors that distinguish Latin America.
Located in the Guadalupe Valley, “Laja” and “Corazon de Tierra” have captivated many people's palates, exposing the flavors of “Baja-med” cuisine. Mixing the best ingredients in the region, both local and foreign customers have been captivated by their cuisine.
“Laja” is the home of Chef Jair Tellez. With a story that started taking shape in 2001, and a menu printed on a news paper, the restaurant grew in both quality and tradition. The customer is welcomed to personalize their meal with different choices from the menu, the size of their portion and even the possibility of ordering a new dish of love at first taste. Their selection varies every week according to the ingredients they have available and the season as well, most of their ingredients are grown in the restaurant's garden.
