Lanes will be closed at San Ysidro Port of Entry

It will take place from the 23rd of September until October 22nd

The General Services Administration, (GSA) in the United States announced that next Monday September 23rd 2013 at 10:00 A.M., northbound lanes 2 through 9 will be open at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Customs officials and the California Border Patrol inform that they will have the personnel necessary to operate the lanes from 10:00 A.M.

Likewise, they will be closing northbound vehicular lanes 10 through 17, to facilitate the construction of a sunshade. These lanes will be closed until 8:00 A.M. October 22nd 2013. Drivers will still be able to use all available lanes. When lanes 10 through 17 are opened once more, the next group of lanes will be closed in a similar fashion. The partial closing of lanes will continue for the duration of the project which will be completed until fall of 2014.
