Help from Playboy gets rejected because it is a "filthy magazine"

They had gathered 2 trucks full of supplies for the victims of "Ingrid" and "Manuel"

The Gin Media Business Group informed though a press release, that the supplies they had gathered for the victims of the tropical storms "Ingrid" and "Manuel" were rejected. The reason? The company edits "Playboy" magazine in Mexico, and it's because of this, they considered their help "unworthy".

"Sadly, because we are the publishing house for magazines like Open, El Gourmet, Forward, Soy Grupero and Playboy, our support has been rejected because we have a magazine that, according to some, it's not worthy of cooperating: our magazine 'Playboy'" they stated in their press release.

The publishing house reiterated that they will continue to gather supplies and get them to the victims somehow. Today on September 27th, the Federal government published the new casualty toll, so far it is 149 confirmed deaths, and the rehabilitation of the affected areas will cost over $75k million pesos. 250 cities have declared a state of emergency and currently there are 58,000 people who are living in shelters.

Is there really any reason to reject their help? As the press release mentions, the nation is in a state of emergency, and the most important thing is to help in any way possible, which is why they will continue to support according to their possibilities, setting aside the issue of "worthiness".
