Club America vs Tijuana Xolos: Make up game time

This game was suppose to be played in week 2

MEXICO CITY - Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles and Club America are set to make up their week two match that was suppose to be played back on in July, but due to the fact that Club America had more than three players on National Team duty during the CONCACAF Gold Cup they were able to reschedule the match.

Club America vs Club Tijuana is scheduled for tonight Tuesday October 1 at 8:00PM local time (6:00PM pacific time) from the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The Xoloitzcuintles are still looking for their first win on the road in this season and will have the toughest of test when they face the reigning Mexican league champions. America are currently riding a seven game winning streak at home; last time they lost in the Estadio Azteca was back on May 4 in week 17 of last season when they fielded a reserve side against Tigres due to the fact they were already qualified to the playoffs.

Tijuana Xolos are coming off of another loss on the road this time to Puebla last Sunday by a score of 2-0. Club Tijuana have only managed to win one point on the road out of their 5 games played on the road.

The Xoloitzcuintles currently find themselves in 12th place of the table and need to start picking up three points at a time in order to get back in playoff race. They currently are 6 points behind 8th place and could cut that deficit in half with their first road win of the season.

POSSIBLE LINEUPS:

Xolos - Saucedo, Nuñez, Aguilar, Ortiz, Castillo, Pellerano, Arce, Güemez, Ruiz, Martinez, Enriquez

Club America - Muñoz, Aguilar, Pimentel, Mosquera, Rodriguez, Aldrete, Molina, Martinez, Andrade, Mina, Rey
