Pablo Aguilar goes from Xolos to Club America

The club has made official the transfer.

TIJUANA - On the last day of transfers between Mexican clubs before the Clausura 2014 season; one of the most important movements of the transfer market was made. Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuinltes central defender Pablo Cesar Aguilar will join former Xolos manager Antonio "Turco" Mohamed at Club America.

"Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente has conducted the official transfer of Pablo Cesar Aguilar Benitez to Club America for the Clusura 2014 season of the LIGA Bancomer MX. After having won the recognition of the border town fans for his superb performances during the past three season in the national tournament, the 2013 Copa Libertadores and the CONCACAF Champion's League; he is presented with this big opportunity in his career. Club Tijuana made available every resource to to complete the transfer of Aguilar to the Capital City side." Read a statement from the club.

Tijuana Xolos are rumored to bring in one or two more Mexican reinforcements. The possibilities at this point are Christian "Hobbit" Bermudez and/or Adrian Aldrete both Club America.
