GUADALAJARA - Following the scoreless draw between Atlas and Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles in the Estadio Jalisco the new Xolos manager Cesar Farias labeled Atlas - who missed a first half penalty - as "tough opponents".

"It is very difficult, without a doubt a very complicated debut. We got a tough opponent on the road, I think we deserved a little more. But the game was hard, the opposition pressed at times.

"I think we have to get better at some things like more depth, and better ball control."

Regarding his very defensive mindset Farias was clear that the team knows their role when playing away from home and that there was still plenty of matches to be played.

"We played like a visiting team should play. We wanted the three points, but at the end we realize there are 17 games. We need to be patient, the results will come."

And finally he admitted that Mexican football has its difficulties, but is confident in that the team will do just fine.

"Mexican football is hard, but we'll get better. You'll notice as time goes on."
