Goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo has been there for nearly all of the 100 Xolos games in first division. He will play his 98th match with the club on Friday night against Santos. His only two absences have been against Atlas.

Stats:

Of the 99 games played in first division, Xolos have won 37, tied 35, and lost 27; which marks a positive balance for a rather new club. The club very recently surpassed the 100 goal mark; it was in last season’s game against Pumas UNAM when Raul Enriquez scored the centennial goal. The Xoloitzcuintles have scored a total of 117 goals and received 107 leaving them with a +10 goal differential.

Games to Remember:

Match 1: vs Morelia (1-2) the first match in first division.

Match 3: vs Santos (1-3) the first ever win in first division. Dayro Moreno, Fernando Arce, and Jose Sand all scored in that match.

Match 35: vs Monterrey (1-2) The first ever playoff match for the Xolos.

Match 57: vs Leon (3-0) After eliminating Monterrey in the quarterfinals, Xolos faced the second leg of the semifinal series against Leon. Xolos had lost the first leg 2-0 and gave a heroic performance to overturn the deficit and reach the final.

Match 59: vs Toluca (0-2) The most important match in Club Tijuana history. The Xolos were crowned league champions.
