Cirilo Saucedo not worried about LA Galaxy

Tijuana Xolos goalkeeper focused on what needs to be done

TIJUANA - Following the 2-0 win by Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente over Chivas of Guadalajara, goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo was seen relaxed and confident about the upcoming series against the LA Galaxy in the CONCACAF Champion's League (CCL) quarterfinals.

"It is going to be an intense fight to the death over two games" said the goalkeeper. When asked if he and/or the team would be paying close attention to the LA Galaxy MLS season opener today (Saturday), Saucedo responded with: "I'm sure the fans will. That is what they do. We just need to stay concentrated on what we do."

Getting back to their winning ways, especially at home in Tijuana where they are usually very dominant, was very important. As well as keeping a clean sheet, since the team has struggled defensively as of late.

"We are happy, we won a game that we needed to win against a tough team, and we leave happy because of the result" he said "It was very important (keeping the clean sheet), the whole team worked towards that. But the most important thing was the three points today."
