TIJUANA, BC.- Almost 2 weeks before the start of the 2014 season of the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa in Spanish), Tijuana Zonkeys is working really hard to be ready to take on the 2 most historic teams in the league, Caborca Mineros and Ciudad Obregon Trigueros.

The side coached by Angel Gonzalez will debut on Cibacopa on Friday, March 28th, by visiting the Mineros, who won the title twice on 2009 and 2011 and were runner ups on 2006 and 2010. But Zonkeys knows what to expect and when the team was in Cananea, before its move to Caborca, the border crew beat them 105-99 and 105-83.

On the other hand, Ciudad Obregon Trigueros are Cibacopa's most successful franchise with 3 crown (2002, 2003, and 2007) and 2 second place titles (2004, and 2005). But once again Zonkeys got the upper hand when the team last visited the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, by beating the visitors 90-76, and 80-77.

Zonkeys' debut in Tijuana will take place on April 1st and 2nd against the Trigueros; tickets will be on sale at the official Zonkey Store in the lobby of the auditorium.
