UPDATE(14:29 HRS): Yes she did! Or at least, Encuentro Guadalupe's official Facebook page does prove there was a private event on Saturday, 22nd,with cero more details given to the public, coinciding with rumors from commentators that placed the singer there during her weekend stay.

ENSENADA.- Several media outlets published two photos on Monday supposedly showing the "Umbrella" singer visiting the city of Ensenada in Baja California this past weekend, although they didn't have any sources or official information about were she could have stayed.

[p]All local media knows is that someone photographed her the moment she was leaving from the "El Ciprés" regional airfield.

But nobody in the press can confirm the origins of the images or their authenticity, not even the name of the paparazzo who took them, if it even was a photographer (some outlets have floated the idea that employees at the airport took the images).

Some internet commentators on the net were talking about rumors of Rihanna being spotted at the Encuentro Guadalupe, a modern vineyard offering also organic cuisine and eco-friendly lodging on a hillside overlooking the Baja wine country (see update above), and describing itself as an "antiresort", what? It's website tries to explain:

"Antiresorts™ is the idea behind Encuentro Guadalupe and all future destinations, it breaks convention by standardizing the hospitality factor when traveling to a place, the Ecoloft™ literally lands with minimum impact to local nature and the Escuela de Oficios™ serves as a trading place for local independent products for guests to learn and enjoy." All right then.

It's kind of odd that the Barbadian singer would be so secretive, since she is mostly known for being very open with her followers. Each time she visits a specific place, she uploads plenty of pictures to her social networks for everyone to see. Let's not forget that during her last world tour, she posted pictures of every city she visited, like Thailand and Abu Dhabi.

One thing the photos have going for them, in that they really are Rihanna in Ensenada, is that it does indeed look like the El Ciprés airport, although it could just be photoshoped or an old picture. This isn't the first time Rihanna's been rumored to go to Baja, as there were also reports in September 2013 that the singer visited the region.

PerezHilton says the singer was in Los Angeles during the weekend, then flew to London on Monday. Could it be that she made a quick visit to Ensenada on Sunday?
